RONALD F. SHEA, 30, 3461 Tenth Avenue, died Sunday at a local hospital of injuries suffered in a car accident Friday night at Thirty-eighth Street and West Broadway. This was the 10th traffic fatality for Council Bluffs of 1963 and brings the total to 16 for Pottawattamie County.
Mr. Shea, a lifelong resident of Council Bluffs, was a painter and decorating contractor. A veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church; the Young Democrats and was a past president of the council Bluffs Chapter of Painters and Decorators Association.
Survivors include: widow, Tillie; two daughters, Kimberly Ann and Susan Marie, both at home; two sons, Ronald Patrick and Richard Michael, both at home; mother, Mrs. Daniel J. Shea of Council Bluffs. Five brothers, Donald J., Terry and Thomas all of Council Bluffs, William of Silver Springs, Maryland and Timothy of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; five sisters, Mrs. Lorraine Fent of Los Angeles, California, Mrs. Kathleen Willis and Mrs. Pauline Fox, both of Council bluffs, Mrs. Joanne Tawzer of Shenandoah and Mrs. Nancy Plainer of Huntington Beach, California. Beem-Belford Funeral Home is in charge.
Requiem Mass for Ronald F. Shea, 30, 3461 Tenth Avenue, will be t 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. The Rev. John F. Hart will be celebrant at his church.
Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Rosary recitation will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Beem-Belford Chapel.
