RICHARD O. SHEA, Jr., 23, 3516 Seventh Avenue, died at his home Tuesday. Dr. Samuel Rosa, county medical examiner said death was due to an apparent heart attack. Shea was a lifelong resident of Council Bluffs and employed by the Council Bluffs Water Works. He was graduated from St. Albert High School in 1971 and served two years in the Navy. He was a member of Our Lady, Queen of Apostles Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Shea and Miss Jeanette Novak of Omaha were scheduled to be married May 29.

Survivors include: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard O. Shea, Sr.; brother, John; five sisters, Mrs. Ruth Ann Duff, Diana Shea, Denis Shea and Barabara Shea all of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Helen M. Zelfel of Charleston, SC; grandmothers, Mrs. Blanche Heck of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. William Coldwell of Humphrey, Nebraska.
