Carson, Iowa, January 14 - To the Nonpareil:

Thomas Sheets, an old and respected citizen of Grove Township, was found dead in a car at Red Oak, Saturday evening. He was returning from Missouri with several carloads of sheep, and on the arrival of the train at Red Oak he was found in one of the cars, with his hands holding firmly on to the slats of the car, standing cold and still in death.

The funeral will take place this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Prairie graveyard in Grove Township.

He leaves a wife, two sons and one daughter, who have the profound sympathies of the entire community in this their sad bereavement.
