THE OBITUARY OFMrs. N.T. Spoor |
Mrs. N.T. Spoor a former resident of Council Bluffs died in St. Louis Friday and the remains arrived in Omaha for burial yesterday afternoon.
Funeral services were held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Rogers, 1120 Park Avenue.
She was the wife of Captain Spoor one of the early settlers of Council Bluffs. He and Mrs. Spoor came to this city in 1854 and remained until 1866, when they removed to Omaha.
In 1882 they went to St. Louis where Captain Spoor is connected with the Missouri Pacific Railroad. For a number of years prior to moving to St. Louis, Captain Spoor was connected with the Union Pacific. He was one of the first agents at the transfer after the Union Pacific opened offices here.
Mrs. Spoor is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. M.E. Lately of St. Louis and Mrs. T.J. Rogers of Omaha.
