Funeral services for Elsie Thallas, a resident of Bethany Lutheran Home, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Woodring Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Reeves of Boone, State Evangelist for Church of God of Prophecy, officiating. Burial will be in Branson Cemetery.

Mrs. Thallas died Saturday at a local hospital after an extended illness. She was 75. She was born in Honey Creek and had been a lifelong resident of Pottawattamie County. She was a retired employee of Jennie Edmundson Hospital where she had worked in the Central Supply Department. Her husband, Elwood, died in 1966.
