Albert G. Thomas, Sr., 86 of Atlantic, died there Tuesday after a short illness. He was born at Oakland and had resided many years in the Council Bluffs area before moving to Atlantic two years ago. Thomas was a retired farmer, worked in 1933 as a circulation manager for the Nonpareil, and later for Sears, Roebuck and Company. His wife Retta, died in 1967.

Survivors include: son, Albert G., Jr. of Atlantic; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Cox of Omaha and Mrs. Marilyn J. Thomas of Council Bluffs; brother, Glen of Council Bluffs; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
