Margueriete F. Tierney

Funeral Mass for MARGUERIETE F. TIERNEY, 55, 224 S. 8th Street, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Church. The Rev. Keith Engel, associate pastor, will be celebrant. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Rosary recitation will be at 8 p.m. Monday at the Beem-Belford Chapel.

Miss Tierney died Saturday at a local hospital after a long illness. She was a native of Weller and had resided 35 years in Council Bluffs. Miss Tierney worked many years in local cafes and more recent years in the housekeeping department at Mercy Hospital, retiring due to illness. Miss Tierney was a member of St. Francis Church.

Survivors include: Four brothers, Edward Tierney of Albia, Leo A. Tierney of Council Bluffs, Michael Tierney of Hammond, Indiana and William Tierney of Melrose; and a sister, Mrs. Katherine Cummings of Lovilla.
