Last Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock PATRICK TIERNEY, at the age of sixty-two years passed away at his home 1409 South Seventh Street. The cause of his death was cancer of which he had been afflicted for a number of years. One side of his face was almost entirely eaten away by the disease.

He was a member of the Catholic Church and leaves a wife and four children.

The body was taken to the undertaking rooms of Charles Lunkley and prepared for burial and will be taken to Spaulding, Nebraska for interment over the Union Pacific at 9:30 this morning. The funeral will occur from the residence of a son of the deceased who resides at the above mentioned place.
