THE OBITUARY OFMrs. Margaret Starr Tinley |
Mrs. Margaret Starr Tinley, 87, 301 S. 8th St., widow of the late District Judge John P. Tinley, died Friday at a local hospital. She had been ill for more than a year.
A native of Ireland, she had been a Council Bluffs resident 67 years. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church, St. Francis Altar Society and the Christ Child Society.
Survivors include: son, John P. Tinley, Jr., of Council Bluffs; three daughters, the Misses Beatrice and Gertrude Tinley, and Mrs. Patricia T. Duckworth, all at home; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. The body is at her residence. Cutler Funeral Home is in charge.
Requiem Mass for Mrs. Margaret Starr Tinley, 87, 301 S. 8th St., will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Church. The Rev. James McIlhon will be celebrant.
Burial will be at the St. Joseph's Cemetery. Rosary recitation is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sunday at her residence. Mrs. Tinley died Friday at a local hospital after a long illness.
