Daisy Lea Van Scoy, 68, a lifelong resident of Iowa, died Monday at a local hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Van Scoy was born near Randolph and had resided in Council bluffs for 32 years. She was a member of the Woodmen Circle, Women's Relief Corps and the First Christian Church.

Survivors are: two sons, Daniel P. and James Lee Van Scoy of Council Bluffs; one sister, Mrs. Phoebe Eskew of Shenandoah, 17 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
