THE OBITUARY OFDavid Walker Jr. |
DAVID WALKER, Jr., aged 49 years died at a local hospital Thursday night at 9 o'clock.
He is survived by: his widow and his father, David Walker, Sr., 831 Avenue H, this city; three brothers, George and Lewis of this city and John of Omaha; and three sisters, Mrs. James Ringland of Des Moines, Mrs. Philip Stegall and Mrs. Guy Shatto of this city.
Mr. Walker was a locomotive engineer on the Northwestern Railroad and a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Enginemen, Knights of Columbus, Eagles Lodge and W.O.W. Lodge.
His body was taken to Beem-Belford Funeral Home but will be removed to the family home this evening. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Francis Xavier's Church with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
The funeral of David Walker, Jr. was held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Francis Xavier Church, with Mgr. F.P. McManus celebrating requiem high mass.
Pallbearers were: W. Simms, J. Mott, C.J. Skipton, James O'Neil, R. Lanning and Hubert Tinley. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery (Section C, Row 22, 1876-March 4, 1926).
