Word has been received in Council Bluffs from Washington, D.C. of the death in action overseas, September 12, of AL WALRAF, a Company L boy. According to the message he was killed while going from one post to another.

Mr. Walraf was about 22 or 23 years of age and one of the first members of the company.

He leaves a father in Mankato, Minnesota, three sisters and three brothers and an aunt in this city.
