This cemetery lies in the Southeast quarter of the Northwest half of Section 16 in Grove Township, Pottawattamie County, Iowa. There originally was a church standing in the center of the cemetery, with the first graves around it. The church was moved some years ago and used for a residence close by, and another church was built across the road from the cemetery. This information was furnished by Mrs. Hattie Osler Buckingham. She was the daughter of Elwood T. Osler and Lenora Independence Wheeler. Her grandparents were Silas and Harriet Wheeler for whom the Wheeler Grove area was named.
