(Macedonia) Aged 95, having outlived all his children, and to such an age that he was great grandfather, Martin H. Whitsett of Macedonia died at his home here Sunday evening from the effects of cancer. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, but the place has not yet been announced. Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery.

Surviving Mr. Whitsett, who was a civil war veteran, are four grandchildren, Mrs. C.C. Scott, and Beryl and Ross Moore of this place and Mrs. Fred Hooker of Carson, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson, the infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Miller of this place.
