Mrs. Helen Ruth Whitson, 37, route No. 1, Neola, died at her home early Saturday of stomach trouble after an illness of nine months. She was a native of Pottawattamie County and was a member of the Mount Hope Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, D.B. Whitson; one daugher, Margaret Anna Whitson, at home; her mother, Mrs. Anna Sharp of McClelland, and two brothers, Irven and Robert Sharp, both of McClelland.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the residence in York Township. Interment will be in Hardin Township Cemetery.
