Robert Willey

Robert Willey, 81, and a resident of Council Bluffs for half a century died at 10:30 this morning of dropsy at his home, 115 Glen Avenue. Mr. Willey built one of the first houses on Glen Avenue 46 years ago. He was the original owner of a large portion of the tract of land now occupied by the Catholic Cemetery and sold them the newer section of the burial ground, which was a portion of his fruit farm. Mr. Willey is survived by his wife.

Funeral

The funeral of Robert Willey will be held from the family residence Monday morning. Rev. Edgar Price of the First christian Church officiating. The services will be private and friends are requested not to send flowers. Interment will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
