HERMAN GEORGE WITTHAUER, aged 27 years, 8 months and 24 days, died Sunday morning at the Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital of Spanish influenza. The family home was at 125 Stahl Avenue.

He is survived by: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.R. Witthauer, his wife; four brothers, Owen, Edward, Merle and Glen of Council Bluffs, and one sister, Mrs. H.G. Jensen, Omaha. He was a member of Council Camp No. 14, Woodmen of the World, which organization will have charge of the services at the grave in Walnut Hill Cemetery.

The date of the funeral will be announced later.
