George Wolff, 70, resident of Council Bluffs for half a century, died Wednesday of complications following a lengthy illness. He resided at 1507 South Third Street. Mr. Wolff was a member of the Lutheran Church of Underwood.

Surviving him is his widow Christina Wolff; five sons, John, Jake, William, Lawrence and George Wolff all of Council Bluffs; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lund of Minden, IA, and Mrs. Lena Gilliland of Grand Island, NE; three brothers, Joe Wolff of Denver, Lawrence Wolff of Neola, IA, and Bernard Wolff of Omaha, two sisters, Mrs. Lena Busch of Denver, and Mrs. Kate Hagedorn of Council Bluffs and ten grandchildren.
