Arthur Zips
ARTHUR ZIPS who has been conducting a repair shop at 1023 Avenue D, died at Mercy hospital yesterday morning after a brief illness. He had been rooming at the Peter Petersen home, 723 Washington Avenue.
It is learned that he has a mother and sister residing at Lawton, Oklahoma and word has been sent to them. The body will be held at Woodring's undertaking rooms pending the receipt of instructions from relatives.
Funeral
After telegraphing Thursday morning that she would come here from Atchison, Kansas, to attend the funeral of her brother, Arthur Zipp, who died in a local hospital several days ago, Mrs. Harry Johns later wired undertaker E.P. Woodring that she would be unable to come, and asked that the body be buried here.
The funeral will take place this morning at 9 o'clock from St. Peter's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
