Weds Boyhood Sweetheart
Allentown, Pa., June 9.—The oldest bridegroom to whom a marriage license has been issued in Lehigh county in many years is Julian A. Bock, a retired farmer of Sac City, Iowa, who came East on a business trip, found Mrs. Agnes Kimmel, a sweetheart of his youth, who have lived in widowhood for some years at New Finggold, Schuylkill county, and claimed her as his bride. The latter is 54.
After Clerk of the Orphan’s Court Robert H. Norgang had issued the marriage license they hunted up Rev. James D. Kistler, pastor of Trinity United Evangelical Church, and were married at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Knapp. They left at once for Sac City.

Needham ~ Lane
Mrs. D. G. Platt’s Mother Married
From Sac City, Iowa, Sun., Feb. 11.—Mr. G. S. Needham of Early went to Carroll on Tuesday evening expecting to meet there Mrs. Lottie E. Lane, of this city, who was returning from Idaho Falls, Idaho, whither she went on a visit with her daughter and other relatives. It was planned that Mr. Needham and Mrs. Lane should be married in Carroll on Tuesday of this week, but the snow storm probably delayed Mrs. Lane’s arrival.
The friends in Sac City have been advised that the wedding took place at eleven o’clock on Wednesday morning, the Rev. Mr. Taylor, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church in Carroll, officiating.
Both are too well and favorably known in this county for comment to be necessary, but the Sun, like their many other friends, believes that the union will prove happy and fortunate for both.
