Lindquist, C., who married Anna Baumire last fall,died Monday.
They lived on Front Street in Davenport, Iowa and operated the Farmers’ House.
Burial was yesterday at the Riverside Cemetery in Moline, Illinois.

Logan, Andrew began publishing the Rock Island (Illinois) News
on 15 August 1838.
He was born on a farm near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1790 and learned the
printer’s trade in Pittsburgh.
After his apprenticeship, he went to Meadville, Pennsylvania and then to Beaver,
Pennsylvania where he was connected with a brother in publishing a newspaper.
He then came to Davenport, Iowa on 7 July 1838.
He moved to a farm 5 miles north of Davenport near what is known as the “Golden
Sheaf” house and lived there until 1860 when he moved
to Jasper Co., Iowa and died there at the residence of his son, A. S. Logan, on
29 June 1869 aged 79 years.
Another son was Dr. A. L. Logan of Dallas, Texas.
