EGGLESTON, KATE H. Atchison Globe, October 18, 1887 Mrs. Kate H. Eggleston, wife of
J. H. Eggleston, of this city, died yesterday afternoon. The funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 10
a.m. ELLIOTT, IDA GRESHAM RINGO Mrs. Ida Elliott passed away this
morning at 7:40. She was born one mile south and
one mile east of Pierce Junction in Atchison County on May 25, 1879. Her maiden name was Ida Gresham. She was married
in 1901 to Luther D. Ringo. Two children were born to this union, Mrs. Ethel Cox of 346 East Fifth Street, Horton,
and Luther D. Ringo of 825 South Fourth street, Atchison. Luther D. Ringo died in September of 1904. August 12, 1910, she married Frank
Elliott of Horton. There are two children, Walter and Charlie; both at home in Horton. There are two brothers and one
sister living, Sallie Hamilton of Lake City, Ia., Jim Gresham of Horton and Charlie Gresham, post office, Hamburg,
Ia. The funeral will be held at the
Baptist church in Huron at 10 a.m. Saturday in charge of Henderson-Rake. Rev. C. M. Foust will preach the sermon. Mrs. Elliott suffered with heart
trouble for a number of years. Note: submitted by Barbara Ziegenmeyer: Ida is buried in the Old Huron Cemetery
in Atchison Co., Ks. No dates listed. After 1930. ENGLEMAN, MARY JANE Died in this city, on the 9th,
