MARSHALL, MYRTLE Atchison Globe, December 23, 1882 The many friends of Mr. and Mrs.
J. W. Marshall will regret to learn that their only daughter, Myrtle, an exceedingly bright child of eleven years,
died last evening, of diphtheria. MAYOR, EMMA E. Atchison Globe, December 30, 1881 Miss Emma E. Mayor died at the
residence of Dr. A. N. Sprague at one o clock this morning after a long and distressing illness. Funeral from the
Trinity church at four o clock this afternoon. Miss Mayor came to Atchison with a younger sister two or three years
ago for her health. McCORMACK, ANDREW Atchison Globe, Oct. 20, 1882 Andrew McCormack, an old gentleman
who has been working at the carpenter trade at Col. E. R. Browne's, northwest of the city, was found dead in bed
at 12 o'clock last night. It is supposed that he died of a congestive chill, as he had worked hard all day, and
ate a hearty supper. Mr. McCormack was 65 years old, and one of the pioneer settlers in this portion of the state.
Col. Browne speaks of him in the highest terms, and says he was a thoroughly honest and good man if one ever lived. McCULLY, JESSE Atchison Globe, September 7, 1887 Jesse McCully died of consumption
last night in East Atchison. He was 21 years old and will be buried in Rushville. McDUFF, SUSAN A. Atchison Globe, December 13, 1880 Died - At the family residence
on Deer Creek, Saturday, Dec. 11th, at 11:30 p.m., of pneumonia, Susan A., wife of Peter McDuff, aged 60 years.
Funeral from the M. E. church, South, Tuesday, December 14, at 3 o clock p.m. McNAMARA, RACHAEL Atchison Globe, January 11, 1880 Rachael McNamara, wife of Capt.
McNamara, died this morning at two o clock, at the family residence in South Atchison, after an illness of only
eight days. She was 48 years old and had resided in Atchison since 1855. Funeral from the residence tomorrow at
10:00 a.m. McVAY, L. C. Atchison Globe, December 13, 1879 Funeral of L. C. McVay at the Baptist
church on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. MEIER, JULIUS Atchison Globe, June 10, 1879 Died - At 9 o clock Monday evening,
June 9, Julius, son of Emil and Emma Meier, aged 4 months. The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 2
o clock, from the residence, Commercial street, between Seventh and Eighth. Friends of the family are invited to
attend. MERIT, E. B. MRS. Mrs. E. B. Merit, who died at her
home at Tonganoxie recently was born at waldron in Platte county, Mo. in 1859. (Atchison Daily Globe, March 7,
1930, page 10) MEYER, LIZZIE Atchison Globe, August 22, 1882 Tuesday, August 22d, at 10 o'clock
a.m., Mrs. Lizzie Meyer, wife of John Meyer, aged 29 years. Funeral tomorrow at 4 o'clock, from her late residence,
corner of Kansas avenue and fifth street. MILLER, CAREY MILLER, JACOB MRS. Atchison Globe, January 23, 1882 Mrs. Jacob Miller, of South Atchison,
died at 5 o clock this morning, after an illness of more than a year. Notice of the funeral will be given in the
Champion tomorrow morning. MOORE, ETTIE Atchison Globe, August 24, 1885 Ettie, daughter of Clark and Allie
T. Moore, died of cholera infantum, aged three years, eight months and twenty three days. The funeral took place
from the residence on Sunday at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. Tevis of the M. E. church, after which her remains
were followed to Mount Vernon cemetery for burial. MORE, ELLA Mrs. Dale Skelton, 508 North Second,
was called to Savonburg today by the death of her grandmother, Mrs. Ella More, who celebrated her 100th birthday
last January. She suffered a broken hip in a fall two weeks ago. Funeral services will be held at the Savonburg
Christian Church tomorrow. She was the mother of Mrs. Skelton's father. (Atchison Daily Globe, Thursday, July 8,
1954) MUELLER, JOHANNA Atchison Globe, July 21, 1887 Mrs. Johanna Mueller, aged about
forty years, died at three o'clock yesterday afternoon. The funeral will take place today at 4 p.m. from the residence
of Albert Weinman, near the brewery. MUELLER, RICHARD Atchison Globe, August 8, 1885 Richard Mueller died last night
after a long illness.

Little Carey, only son of Dr. and Mrs. J. G. Miller, died of membraneous croup on the 28th. A large number of friends
followed the remains to Oak Hill cemetery yesterday.
