Robert H. Fee, 89, of Wichita, formerly of El Dorado, retired Boeing, Wichita human resources manager, died, Friday, Oct. 28, 1994. Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lakeview Funeral Home.

Maxine Fenner, 72, of Neodesha, former Depew Law Firm receptionist and dental office assistant, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 1994. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday in Neodesha cemetery.

FERGUSON, EDNA KLAASSEN

Edna Klaassen Ferguson, 86, of Wichita, died Friday, Dec. 16, 1994, at her home. Services are 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lamb-Nutter Mortuary in Whitewater with Brother Richard Orr officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.

She was born April 28, 1908, in rural Whitewater, the daughter of Jacob Klaassen and Mary Harris. She was a homemaker and was married to H. B. Ferguson. He died in 1990.

James F. Foster, 59, of Wichita, attorney, died Friday, Jan. 7, 1994. Memorial services were held Monday afternoon at St. James Episcopal church in Wichita. Father Ron Reed will officiate the services.

FOSTER, LLOYD G.

Lloyd G. Foster, 75, of Ponca City, Okla., formerly of El Dorado, died Monday, Oct. 17, 1994. Services were held Friday afternoon the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Monty Fey officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park.

He was born Feb. 23, 1919 in El Dorado, the son of Lloyd E. and Myrtle (Mitchell) Foster and attended schools in El Dorado. He graduated from Oklahoma A&M in 1942 with a degree in engineering and was a professor of industrial engineering at the university.

On Dec. 7, 1960, he and Georgia Steen were married in Ponca City. She died in 1993. He worked at Conoco, and was a partner in Howe-Foster Heating and Air. He and his wife owned and operated the Landmark Motel. For the last three years he was a sales rep for KLOR radio and the Good News Town and Country Gazette. His memberships included the First Presbyterian church where he was a deacon, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Oklahoma Home Builders Assoc. and he had won the National Home Builder of the Year award.

Survivors include, daughters, Lori Ellis of Ponca City, Karen Geary of Sewanee, Tenn., sons, Rick Lawrence of Spring, Texas, Bob Lawrence of Pasedena, Texas, sisters, Ida Mae Waite of El Dorado, Alma Hale of Norman, Okla., Juanita Hawks of El Dorado, Dorothy Malcolm of Newburgh, IN., nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

FOSTER, LOUISE

Louise Foster, 102, of Newton, died Saturday, April 30, 1994. Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Petersen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Turon (Kan.) cemetery.

She was born Aug. 31, 1891, in Fayette, Mo., to Francisco Harvey Nipper and Elizabeth Ann Dyson. She was married to Lloyd E. Foster. He died March 22, 1986. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She moved to Newton in 1972 from Turon.

Survivors include: stepson, Lloyd Foster of Ponca City, Okla., stepdaughters, Ida Mae Waite, Juanita Hawks, both of El Dorado, Alma Hale of Norman, Okla., Dorothy Malcom of Evansville, Ind. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Vann.

FRANKLIN, OLA MAE

Ola Mae Franklin, 83, of El Dorado, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 1994, at Knutson Manor Nursing Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carlson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.

She was born Oct. 26, 1910, in Buffalo, Mo., the daughter of James E. and Martha Alice Gann Ford. On Oct. 10, 1926, she and L. M. Franklin were married in Long Lane, Mo. He died Jan. 22, 1994. She was a homemaker, a nurse aide at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital for 12 years and had done private nursing. After the couple retired, they were camp hosts at Branson City Park in Branson, Mo. from 1967 to 1977. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Fidelity Sunday School Class.

Survivors include: daughters, Allene Smith of Stockton, Carolyn Maus of Edmond, Okla.; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Geraldine Vaught.

FRANKLIN, L. M.

L. M. Franklin, 89, of El Dorado, died Saturday evening Jan. 22, 1994, at his home. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Carlson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.

He was born Oct. 25, 1904, in Buffalo, Mo., the son of Charley and Missouri Caroline McClurg Franklin and moved to El Dorado where he lived for 66 years. He was foreman for Cities Service Oil Co. and after retiring from there, opened and managed the Branson, Mo. City Park for 12 years, until retiring in 1976.

On Oct. 10, 1926, he and Ola Mae Ford were married near Long Lane, Mo. His memberships included the First Baptist church, and the Men’s Sunday School Class, and Cities Service Retirees.

Survivors include: wife, Ola, daughters, Allene Smith of Stockton, Carolyn Maus of Oklahoma City, sister, Inez Cox of El Dorado, nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Geraldine Vaught, two brothers and one sister.

FRAZIER, FRANCES

Frances Frazier, 87, of El Dorado, died Monday, Oct. 3, 1994, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. Services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Carlson Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Belle Vista Mausoleum.

She was born March 23, 1907, in the El Dorado house she has lived in all her life, the daughter of Seth and Clara Frances Kilpatrick Frazier. She graduated from Lindenwood College in St. Louis then from Kansas University. She served in the U.S. Navy Waves during WWII.

She taught school after college for a few years, worked for the Chamber of Commerce for several years and then went into the real estate business. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she taught an adult Sunday School Class and served as deacon. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, Knife and Fork, and was a member of the original board of Bradford Memorial Library.

Survivors include: cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jim.

Memorials are to the First Presbyterian Church Women and Bradford Memorial Library. The casket will not be opened at the services. (El Dorado Times, Oct. 5, 1994)

FRAZIER, MARY ‘JO’

Mary Jo Frazier, 66, of El Dorado, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 1994 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. Graveside services will be held on Friday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. in the Neodesha cemetery under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home in Neodesha.

She was born May 4, 1928 in Altoona to Carl and Nannie (Staton) McCarty. She married William L. Frazier on May 18, 1946 in Neodesha. He survives.

Survivors include a son, Billy of York, Pa., a daughter Sandy Nakaten of El Dorado, brothers, Don McCarty of Sparta, Mo., Harold McCarty of Cedarvale, sister Margaret Jaynes to Topeka and six grandchildren. One brother, Jack is deceased. (El Dorado Times, Oct. 27, 1994)

FREY, KEITH ALLEN

Keith Allen Frey, 39, of Mission, formerly of El Dorado, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 1994. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Carlson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.

He was born Sept. 8, 1954 in Wichita, the son of Rex and Donna Winzer Frey. He graduated from El Dorado High School and Emporia state University. He lived in Great Bend for 15 years before moving to Mission a few months ago. He was an insurance adjustor for American Family Insurance for 16 years and was a member of the First Baptist church.

On June 21, 1979, he and Sherri Lynn Holmes were married in St. Joseph, Mo.

Survivors include: wife, Sherri, parents, Rex and Donna Frey of El Dorado, brother, Mark of El Dorado, grandmother, Mary Frey of Potwin.

Homer Frick, 67, of Leon, retired Beech Aircraft Corp. employee, died Tuesday, June 28, 1994. Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.

She was born Nov. 7, 1963, in Eureka, the daughter of Clifford and Jacqueline Simmons Sharp. On April 21, 1990, she and Jack Frye were married in Rosalia.

Survivors include: husband, Jack; sons, Brandon and Eric Lakin, daughters, Tasha and Angela of Rosalia; step-son Jacob Frye of El Dorado; father and mother, Clifford and Jacqueline Sharp of Rosalia; brothers, Danny Sharp, Donald Sharp, both of Rosalia, David Sharp of El Dorado, Dewayne Sharp of Towanda, sisters, Sierra Young of Towanda, Kathaleen Spohn of El Dorado, one granddaughter.

She was born April 8, 1922, in Allen county to Jacob Low Stryker and Anna Hobbs.

Lloyd G. Furr, 68, of Leon, died Monday, Jan. 31, 1994, at Friendly Acres Retirement Home in Newton. Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Leon cemetery.

He was born March 26, 1925 in Oklahoma. He lived in Leon since moving from Grove, Okla. in 1986. He retired from Rose Bowl East in Wichita as a bowling alley mechanic.

During WWII he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. On July 3, 1970, he and Donna Maclean were married in Wichita.

Survivors include: wife, Donna, daughters, Becky Christian of Taloga, Okla., Cecilia Schroeder of St. Charles, Mo., stepdaughters, Denise Spurlock, Debbie Sauer, Dodie Harrison, all of Wichita, brother, Dale of Tempe, Ariz., sisters, Karen Lomax of El Dorado, Joyce Rice of Overland Park, Darlene Stidham of Taloga, Melba Jo Robinson of Oklahoma city; 12 grandchildren.
