Died May 21, Mrs. Jennie (Dalby) Newbury, wife of Howard Newbury. They had lived in Atlanta, GA. She was a depot agent at Brainerd for a number of years and gave music lessons. They had resided on a farm south of Whitewater for a while. (Independent, May 24, 1956)

NILES, NAPOLEON B.

N. B. Niles of Whitewater died at his home February 1 of heart failure. He was an old resident of Whitewater and had many friends. He had been in the employ of the Rock Island railroad for many years. The funeral was held Friday, February 2, at the Reform Church, he was buried under the rites of the Odd Fellows. (Walnut Valley Times, February 9, 1906)

Died February 1, Napoleon B. Niles, at his Whitewater home. Married M. V. Staley. He came to Kansas when he was about 17 years old. (Independent, February 8, 1906)

NOBLE, LUTIE ADNA

Died July 4, Mrs. Lutie Adna (Ham) Noble, 91, daughter of the late Jason and Laura Newton at Bethel hospital. She was married to Stiles Noble. Survived by daughters: Mrs. Jessie Neubrough and Mrs. Horace Bunting and many grandchildren. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. (Independent, July 9, 1964)

Died April 9, Stiles R. Noble, at Bethel Deaconess hospital. Married Lutie Edna. Survived by wife, daughters Mrs. Horace Bunting and Mrs. Jessie Bueller, sisters, Erma Crosby and Mrs. Estelle Wright, brother: Harrison and grandchildren. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
