SAMUEL THOMAS McCARTY
Over in Centerville township lives Samuel Thomas McCarty who came from Keokuk, Iowa, when only fourteen years old. He married Martha Glenn of Johnson county, Missouri, and their children are Sherman who married Alice Henry, Burton married Mabel Holloman, Lottie Ann married Charles Jones, Olive married Thomas Cochran, and Orlo Sheridan married Cora Cooper.
