1892 Delphos Mill Burned It is a Loss of $30,000 and no Insurances. Special to the Capital DELPHOS, KAS., November 14 The Delphos flouring mill was destroyed by fire yesterday (Sunday) morning. The origin of the fire is not positively known but it is supposed to have come from the steam heater. The lose is about $30,000, no insurance. The mill had recently been refitted and fully equipped with the best modern machinery and had a capacity of 100 barrels per day. Several thousand bushels of wheat and a number of tons of flour were also consumed. The fire was under such headway when discovered that nothing was saved. The loss falls heavily upon the sole owner, Mr. Geo. Stratton, as also upon our community.
