County, Kansas, Oct. 17, 1874, and, departing this life at his home near Minneapolis, Kansas, March 29, 1938, at
the age of 63 years, five months and twelve days.
On March 31, 1898, he was united in marriage to Miss Amy McLean, of Delphos, Kansas. Four children came to bless

Although Mr. Toler had been in ill health for some time, his sudden death was a shock to the home folk and his
community, where he had resided for thirty-three years.
Ray, as his neighbors and friends called him, was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Minneapolis, which,
with the family and the community, feel they have suffered a great loss.
The funeral was conducted by the Rev. Fred Blanding, of the M.E. Church of Minneapolis, on Thursday, March 31st.
That date was also the 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Toler. He was laid to rest in the Delphos Cemetery.
We cannot think of them as dead
Who walk with us no more
Along the path of life we treat,
They have but gone before.
