Supreme Sacrifice
  Pvt. Keith Curtis Blackburn, youngest son of Preston and Hazel Blackburn, born near Larned, Pawnee Co., Kansas, Oct. 16, 1921; killed in action Dec. 12, 1944, in Germany, age 23 years, 1 month and 26 days.  He went into the service for his country Aug. 5, 1942; went overseas Aug. 3, 1944.  He was with General Patton's 3rd Army 95th division Infantry.
  Keith was always willing to do his duty, both in school and in the armed service of his country, never complaining, always writing the best letters and everything was all o.k.

Wesley, Harvey and Marvin Becker, in Honolulu, Hawaii just before the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Marvin (class of 1939) and Wesley (class of 1940) and Harvey were in the Navy together.  Harvey stayed in the city with his wife, the others returned to their ship, the Arizona, which was sunk Dec. 2 (7th).
