Mrs. Mabel May Davis
Mrs. Mabel May Davis, 70, died at 3:20 p.m. Saturday at St. John's hospital from complications following a long
illness. Her home was at 1112 State.
She was born on a farm east of Bavaria June 15, 1880, and lived her entire life in this community. Her husband,
John Henry Davis, died Dec. 17, 1946. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Mrs. Davis is survived by eight sons and daughters, Ernest Davis, salina; Solon Davis, Salina; Mrs. Ethel Austey,
Santa Fe, N.M.; Merle Davis, Salina; Cecil Davis, Salina; Arthur Davis, Salina; Mrs. Veta Leister, Culver and Mrs.
Emogene Norris, Salina; 14 grand-children, seven great grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. E_? Burr, Salina and
Miss Alice Hines, Salina.
The casket will be open at the Guy R. Ryan and Sons mortuary until the funeral. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday
at the First Presbyterian church with the Rev. James Elliott officiating. Burial will be in the Gypsum Hill cemetery.

Dunbar, Paul A.
DUNBAR, Paul A., age 75, of 1932 S. Meridian, passed away Monday, March 9, 1970. Funeral services will be held
at 10 a.m. Thursday at The First Wesleyan Church. Rev. C. W. Dunbar, pastor, will officiate. Graveside Services
and interment will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Gypsum Hill Cemetery at Salina, Kansas. Services by
Broadway Mortuary.
