Montgomery, Sigrid
Mrs. Sigrid Montgomery, 62, died at 4 p.m. Friday in a diabetic coma a few hours after she entered St. John's hospital.
She had been up and around her home as usual until stricken about noon.
Mrs. Montgomery was born July 3, 1888, in Hallville. She had been a resident of Salina for 20 years. Her husband
Robert Montgomery, died in 1931.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Vern Peatling and Mrs. Leroy Fink, both of Salina; a son, Robert Montgomery,
Martinez, Calif.; three brothers, Oscar Runberg, Falun; Fritz Runberg, Assaria, and Alfred Runberg, WaKeeney; and
two sisters, Mrs. Hilma Anderson, Assaria and Mrs. Eileen Morrison, Nyssa, Ore.
Mrs. Montgomery was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rush Smith Funeral home. The Rev. W.W. Klover will officiate. Burial
will be in Gypsum Hill cemetery.
