ASHBEROOK-BISHOP
Mr. and Mrs. Gus Brooks, Mr. and Mrs. Vedder, Mr. and  Mrs. John  E. Viley, Mrs. Carrie Buckner and Miss Susan Buckner went to Cynthiana this afternoon to attend the wedding of Mr. Sam Ashberook and Miss Fanny T. Bishop, tonight at  8 o'clock at the home of the bride.   [December 2, 1908, Lexington Herald ]

LONG-BOONE
Marriage Weeks Ago Announced
Announcement of the marriage of Miss Mary Clat Boone to Mr. Charles Long was given out here this morning, the ceremony having been performed several weeks ago in Mt. Sterling. The bride is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. J.Q. Boone, and is exceedingly pretty and popular. They were married at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ewing Flynn, the ceremony having been performed by the Rev. Mr. Wilson, the Baptist minister.

MURPHY-HOUSTON
News has reached here of the marriage of Mr. Jeff Murphy, of Bloomfield, Ky., a brother of Mr. F.H. Murphy, of Winchester, and Miss Hallie Houston. The ceremony was performed this week as the Seelbach Hotel, in Louisville. [Lexington Herald 4/4/1908]

OLIVER-DYKES

Dr. Carl D. Oliver and Miss Mae Dykes were married Thursday at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Dykes, near Boonesboro Both are well and favorably known by our people.

NICHOLS-ARNOLD
The marriage of Mr. Richard Nichols, of Danville, and Miss Arnold, of Springfield, Kentucky has been announced for December 4. Mr. Nichols is a grandson and namesake of the late R. H. C. Bush, of Winchester.  Hon. Harry Schoberth, who delivered the annual memorial address  for the Winchester Lodge of Elks, motored to Winchester and was accompanied by his brother, Mr.  Reynold Schoberth. of Versailles; Miss Judge, of Versailles, and Miss Collins, of Nicholasville. The party was entertained with an elaborate dinner at the Brown-Proctoria Hotel, by Col. T. G. Stuart and Hon. R. D. Hunter. Lexington Herald, December 3 1912

SIDELL-CURTIS / BAILEY-LONG / STOKLEY-BUNCH
Three Couples Licenses
A marriage license was issued to Walter Sidell, son of S.J. Sidwell, and Miss Carrie Curtis, daughter of G.W. Curtis. The ceremony will be performed on February 10.

Stanley Bailey and Miss Lillie Long were also granted a license here. He is a son of J.W. Bailey and the bride to be is a daughter of Hiram Long. The ceremony will be performed on February 10.

Henry Stokley and Miss Florine S. Bunch were granted a license today. She is the daughter of T.L Bunch, and the bridegroom is a son of William Stokley.
All three of the young men are Clark County farmers.

VIVIEN-KERR
Mr. Henderson Vivien and Miss Lena Kerr were married Wednesday, February 16, at the residence of the
bride's father, S.D. Kerr, near Log Lick. Both of the parties reside in this county and are well and favorable known.
