Mr. Hampton Suffers Relaspe
News has reached here that ex-Sheriff Howard Hampton, who went to McIntosh, Fla., to recuperate, following an operation for stomach trouble, had suffered a relaspe as a result of a slight hemorrhage. His condition is not thought to be serious.

Dr. James Holloway, who for some time had been at Asheville, N.C. for his health, is now in Mexico, and is steadily improving. [Lexington Herald 4/4/1908]

Miss Lucy Browning is quite ill at her home on College Street.
Miss Allie Duncan, who has been ill for several days is convalescent.
Chester Pace is very ill of pneumonia at his home on Second Avenue.
Mr. Maurice Haggard has recovered from a long illness. He has sold his interest in the firm of Haggard & Hensley, and has removed to Paris, where he will engage in business with Mr. John Guy, formerly of this city. Mrs. Harry Ecton is ill of the grippe.
Mrs. Allen Owen is recovering from a severe attack of illness.
Mr. Ben Shaw is dangerously ill at his home on Winn Avenus.
Mr. Morris Ramsey fell this week and sustained a broken limb.
Mrs. Flmere Stull is ill of pneumonia.
Two children of Mr. and Mrs. J. Newton Renaker are ill of measles.
The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Pendleton is quite ill.
Little Nancy Kathryn Perry is ill of measles.
Mrs. Kate Ramsey is ill of lagrippe.



Judge F. P. Pendleton Is able to be out after several days' illness. [

Considerable alarm is being felt by the friends and relatives of Zack Connor, a prominent farmer of the Wade's Mill pike, who is seriously ill here at the home of his son-in-law, John White, Jr. Mr. Connor is suffering pneumonia contracted sometime ago. [Lexington Herald, Feb. 4, 1913]
