Be it known to all whom it may concern that we the
Subscribers being hereunto duly called by a number of baptist professors in
order to constitute & to Set apart as a Church or body of Christians destinct
with full authority to exercise the gospel (illegible)
Discipline we have therefore by the authority of Jesus Christ constituted and
Set apart them as a church distinct and independant of all other Christian
Societies to live do and act according to the word of God in all wisdom and
prudance in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost three
persons but one God forever Amen.

The Rules of Discipline
Preamble: The bever dam Church of
Christ Constitution for the Philadephia Confession of Faith with its _________?
1st Do agree that we open Meeting for business at Twelve Oclock, and that our first business be to Inquire of the Peace, and that the oldest reference of agrievance be attended to first and then (illegible)
2nd Resolve that our meetings for business be the (illegible) in each Month and that old matters of dealing be done Privately, that the church may Deem to be of a private nature
3rd Resolv that no members shall be recd into Fellowship withouth the unanimous Consent of the Church then present
4th Resolve that all matters that come before us shall be determined by a Majority except that of fellowship
5th Resolve that any Motion or proposition made not meeting a Second shall fall, and that no Motion shall be debated unless first taken up by the Church
6th Resolve that each member when about to Speak shall rise from his Seat and address the moderator
7th Resolve that no member shall speak more than three times to one subject without leave, and if he deviate from the Subject in hand, shall be called to Order
8th (illeg) that Members speaking shall always avoid striking at the feelings of each other as such conduct is contrary to the Spirit of the Gospel.

Rules of Decorum
1st We do agree that our meeting for Business be the second Saturday in each month and that we open meeting at Twelve Oclock
2nd Resolved that the oldest reference of grievance be attended to first and after that Inquire for Fellowship
3rd Resolved that no Member shall be received into Fellowship without the unanniumous Conset of the Church then present
4th Resolved that all matters that come before us shall be Determined by a Majority excep that of Fellowship
