Faye D. Allison Asher, 57, of Louisville died May 31, 1985 at Georgetown Nursing Home. / She was born December 11, 1927 in Louisville, Ky. The daughter of Finnie and Wildia Meredith Allison. / She was a member of the Arcade Baptist Church. / Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl B. Darnall, of Guston, Ky.; her mother Mrs. Wildia Allison; three sisters, Wildia M. Mills of Corydon, Ind., Betty Spriggs and Ethel Hinton; two brothers, Denny Allison of Salem, Ill.; and Alva Allison and two grandchildren. Her husband William B. Asher, Jr. and a son Eddie G. Hixson, Jr., preceded her in death. / Funeral services were held June 3, 1985 at O. D. White and Sons Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Ashley, Jr., Silver Spring, Md., six sisters, Mayme Clements, Leitchfield; Grace Rudd, Madisonville, Ky.; Ora Truant, Arcadia, Ca.; Zoe Craselhart, Minnie Miller, Cora Ashley and one brother, John Ashley, all of Louisville. / Memorial services, following cremation, were held under the direction of Chambers Funeral Home, Silver Spring, Md.

He was a member of the Claggett United Baptist Church. / Survivors other than his wife include three daughters Bernice Sandlin of Leitchfield, Bonnie Grubbs of Clarkson and Joyce Ann Joyce of Leitchfield; two sons Lennie Ausbon of Louisville and Murrell Ausbon of Leitchfield; one brother Eulas Ausbon of Leitchfield; three sisters Dora Farris, Martha Farris and Eula Lindsey all of Leitchfield; nine grandchildren, / Funeral services were held Oct. 12, 1981 at the Dermitt Chapel by the Rev. William Green with interment in the Fairview Cemetery.
