SIX BROTHERS WILL BE BURIED MONDAY

Harlan, KY, Dec 11 – Winding slowly over mountain roads, a funeral procession bearing six plain coffins – each holding the body of a brother – passed through historic Cumberland Gap Sunday into Tennessee.

Monday, near New Tazewell, Tenn., the six bodies will be buried in a single grave in the Massengill family cemetery.

The brothers, Henry, Garrett, Calvin, Esau, Tom and Campbell Massengill, were among the 23 men killed Friday in the Zero mine explosion near here.
