ENTICED TO HIS DEATH - 
Thomas W. Davis and Jesse Taylor of Sinking Creek were put in jail at Barboursville, Ky. Sunday night for murdering Len Hammicker Saturday night. They induced Hammicker to leave his house and accompany them to see some girls. Hammicker was found dead, so badly battered in the head that his remains could not be recognized. Cumberland Falls, Kentucky
Four Persons Swept Over A Dam
Cumberland Falls, Ky., April 27 – News was brought here from Park’s mills, ten miles distant in the mountains, of the drowning of four young people who were out skiff riding. Matt McKee and John Davis and Misses Maggie and Minnie Shepard are the names of those who are reported to have lost their lives.
