Mr. & Mrs. Frank Reese, of South Kanawha Street, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Audrey Reese, to Lowell Boggs, son of Judge and Mrs. W. S. Boggs, of Louisa, Kentucky.
Mrs. Boggs is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and is now employed in the office of the Western Union Telegraph Company.
The double-ring ceremony was performed by his father, Judge Boggs, in Louisa, Kentucky, on October 15, 1945.
Attending the wedding were members of the immediate family and close friends.
For the occasion the bride was attired in a pink and blue street-length dress with black accessories. Her flowers were a cordage of pink roses.
The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Russell Boggs, of Raleigh. Mr. Boggs is the groom's brother.
The groom is a graduate of Louisa High School. He was recently discharged from the United States Army, after serving 42 months overseas in the Pacific theater of operations, as a member of the 27th Infantry Division.
Immediately following the ceremony the couple left for a two week honeymoon trip through the eastern part of the state.
They plan to make their home in Louisa.
