Family that started a store in the county called Fairdealing Store.
The info that I have says the town of Fairdealing grew around this store. The family that I came from is the
Faughn
family.

Malinda Gibson
married Robert McGee probably about 1826 or
27 somewhere in Virginia. She had a son, James
Calvin McGee born in 1828 in Virginia. Robert
McGee died. Malinda then married William Freeman.
They moved to Marshall County, Ky in 1846. At that
time, Malinda Gibson McGee Freeman, her son James
Calvin McGee, her husband William Freeman and their
two boys, Thomas Martin Freeman, about 8, and
Henry Clay Freeman, stopped on the Tennessee
River near Haydock Ferry, which was across the river
from Livingston County. I'm looking for more
information on both Malinda and William Freeman. |
