ROBERT MARSHALL born c 1725 and died in Mason County, Kentucky, before April 27, 1801 was traditionally believed to have been the son of Richard and Mary Marshall of Charles County, Maryland.   However, I have been unable to establish proof for this statement.   I have not been, able to find in the records the name of his wife.   Though there must have been other children of Robert Marshall dec'd 1801, in the settlement of the estate there were only two named — Robert Marshall, Jr. of Fayette Co., Ky. and Mrs. Elizabeth Marshall Edward's heirs.

ELIZABETH MARSHALL, daughter of Robert Marshall dec'd   1801.   She was born c 1762 and married 1779 Jacob Edwards, son of James Edwards and Sarah Everett Jacobs (Mason Co., Ky.   Order Bk.
