THOMPSON - CARSON
Miss OLIVE EDNA CARSON and Mr. GEORGE LEE THOMPSON were quietly married at the home of the bride's father, Mr. J. L. CARSON in Hartford, Jan. 28th at 1 o'clock. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. G. W. Dame. As the bridal couple entered the parlor Miss Mary Wedding played "The Flower Song." Only a few intimate friends were present. The bride looked very charming and stylish in a tailored traveling suit of dark blue cloth and the groom very dignified in the regulation black. The bride is known and loved for her kindness of heart and winning personality by a host of friends in Hartford and elsewhere. Mr. THOMPSON is a Southern gentleman of one of the best families of Alabama, and is a well-known cotton buyer and planter of Fayette, Ala. Immediately after the ceremony, amid a shower of rice and the congratulations and best wishes of friends, Mr. and Mrs. THOMPSON left for their home in Fayette.
