Kentucky Cyclone Several Buildings Demolished and One Man Killed at Morganfield
At 3:30 PM a cyclone struck this city, unroofing the old Methodist church and the Parsons hotel and totally demolished several business houses. Harvey Sellers, the city marshal, who was in the police office at the time, was instantly killed by falling walls. The storm struck the city from the southwest and only lasted a few seconds.

SNOW IN KENTUCKY Six Inches of Snow and Much Damage to Fruit Reported
Louisville, Ky., April 20. – Dispatches received today report a heavy snowfall and damage to fruit in Western Kentucky. At Morganfield, Owensboro, and Hopkinsville the precipitation amounted to six inches. Bowling Green, Henderson and other places report snow and a freezing temperature. A snowfall at this time of the year is unprecedented in these localities.
