Kirby Smith, Clarks, La.

Special to the Times-Picayune.
Grayson, La., June 25.--Kirby Smith of Clarks, La., died at the charity hospital in Shreveport Tuesday. The body was shipped to Grayson and interred in the Welcome Home Cemetery Wednesday. Mr. Smith leaves three brothers and a sister, Monroe Jarrell of the People's Mercantile Company, Columbia; Dr. Columlbus Jarrell of Crowville, La.; Cicero Jarrell of Winnsboro, La., and Mrs. Thompon Dunn of Kelly, La.

Winnsboro, La., May 13.--C. T. Leslie, a leading citizen of this parish, died at his residence in Crowville yesterday afternoon after an illness of a few days. Mr. Leslie came to this parish about six years ago from Ohio, and during the years of his stay here had been most successful as a planter. His remains, accompanied by the wife and other relatives, were carried to his former home in the North for interment, leaving Winnsboro on this morning's train.

Mrs. Caroline A. Bonner

Fort Necessity, La., June 4.--Mrs. Caroline A. Bonner died at her home, near this place, this morning, after a long illness. Mrs. Bonner, nee Frazier, was a native of Wilkinson county, Miss., and was 48 years of age. She leaves seven children and many other relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
