MOREHOUSE PARISH MARRIAGE NOTICES

(Special to the Picayune.) , Mer Rouge; .La., Nov. 18.—At the home of the bride's father, Mr. J. T. Scoggin, of Bastrop, La. Mr. W. E. Slsson and Miss Annie May Scoggin were united In marriage. Miss Scoggin is highly accomplished, beautiful, and has always been a universal favorite In Bastrop since childhood. Mr. Slsson Is one of Mer Rouge's favorite sons.. He is known for his sterling good qualities and as a successful business man. He has for many years held the responsible position of bookkeeper for the large mercantile firm of W. C. Andrews. Many friends of the bride and groom assembled at;3:30-p. m. to witness the ceremony, performed by Rev. Mr. Roberts,' of Oakridge, and bid the happy couple bon voyage upon the journey of life just begun. The gifts were many and choice, showing the esteem in which the contracting parties were held by friends. Mr. and Mrs. Sisson arrived in Mer Rouge at 5 o'clock where they received a cordial welcome.
