Walter Ward Boles was born Aug 1, 1896 and died Aug 1950. He was buried in Rocky Branch Cemetery in Union Parish Louisiana. Walter was the son of John Thomas Boles and Ada Taylor Boles. He was a logger, trapper and a "Woodsman of the World"

                            John Thomas Boles was born on  June 20 1866, and died on Jan 20, 1936. He married  Ada Taylor born June 15, 1863 and died Feb 20, 1900  and had five  children:

     Marion Thomas born  June 1 1888

Robert Lee born March 24, 1892

Mary Elizabeth born Feb 12, 1893.

Walter Ward  born Aug 1, 1896

Minnie Lee born Jan 27, 1898

Ada Octavia born Feb 20, 1900

             Marion Thomas was born  June 1, 1888 and died  July 31, 1977. He is buried in Rocky Branch.  He married Ada Simpson on  Ada Simpson Boles was the daughter of John and Laura Impson Simpson. She was  born May 4, 1894 and died Feb 19, 1920. She is buried in Rocky Branch Cemetery. Their  children are ;

• Sammie T Boles born Dec 27,1913 and died Aug 25, 1981

• Lavina Boles born 1916

             Marion married second abt 1922, Lizzie Roan the daughter of John Peyton and Ada Ward Roan. Lizzie    was born Sept. 26, 1899 and died April 14, 1972. She is buried besides Marion in Rocky Branch Cemetery. Their children are;  

• Marion Otto born  Jan 31, 1924 and died July 12, 1995

• Marion Thomas  born  Aug. 15, 1927 and died  April 11, 1956    

• John Robert Boles. born May 13, 1929 and died Dec. 20, 2004

Robert Lee was born March 24, 1892 and died March 2, 1950. He is buried in Rocky Branch Cemetery.

Mary Elizabeth was  born Feb 12, 1893 and died May 9, 1941. She married Ervin Gates ( See Gates)

• Walter Ward Boles was  born Aug 1, 1896 and died  Aug. 18, 1950 . He is buried in Rocky Branch Cemetery. Walter married Emma Ruth Goyne on July 18, 1913. Emma was born July 26, 1897 and died Oct. 25, 1973. Emma was the daughter of John Martin Goyne and Amanda Melvina Fitchland Roan..  Their children are;

• Carrie Boles born Jan. 29, 1918

• Walter Everett {Jack} Boles born Jan. 7, 1919

• Myrceal Boles {Still Living)

Minnie Lee born Jan 27, 1898 and died  August 27, 1975. She married  (1st) Joe Lee Aaron (2) Jim Clampitt (3)Joe Patman Lewis (See Lewis)

Ada Octavia born Feb 15, 1900 married Joe Lee Aaron. She died Feb. 22, 1980 and is buried in Rocky Branch Cemetery. (See Aaron)
