Vernon Parish Obituaries

Mrs Lula Elizabeth Glass, 62, died at her home in Alco; Monday, Oct 23. Funeral services will be held this afternoon from the Alco Baptist Church, at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. E. E. Fields, the Rev. J. D. Wagnon and the Rev. Pratt McCloud, officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery, at Simpson, under the direction of the Hixson Brothers Funeral HOme.

Surviving are, four daughters, Mrs. Cecil Lott, Slagle; Mrs. Earl Martin, of Lake Charles; Mrs. Claude Johnson, Alco; and Mrs. Layton Smith, Houston; four sons, Archie Glass, New Llano; Odis Glass, New Orleans; Bennie Glass, Alexandria, and Samuel Glass, U.S. Army.
