Larry Lloyd Wells, age
22 years, a native of
Bogalusa, LA and a
resident of Mt. Hermon,
LA, died Friday, August
6, 2004 while stationed
in Iraq. He was an E-3
in the United States
Marine Corps. He was a
rifleman assigned to the
1st Battalion, 4th
Marine Regiment, 11th
Marine Expeditionary
Unit of the I Marine
Expeditionary Force
based in Camp Pendleton,
California. This was his
second tour of duty in
Iraq. Survived by:

Joni Fanguy of Mt.
Hermon, LA; 3 brothers
and spouse, Christopher
Wells, Chad Wells and
wife, Andrea of
Mandeville, LA and Billy
Wells of Bogalusa, LA; 4
sisters and spouse:
Chasity George and Alex
of New Orleans, LA,
Cyrstal Wells of
Bogalusa, LA, Ashley and
Kayle Wells both of
Enon, LA; 2
stepbrothers: Joshua
Fanguy of Houma, LA and
Justin Fanguy of Mt.
Hermon, LA; 2
stepsisters and spouses:
Jessica and Joey
Frisella and Jodi and
Scott Lirett all of
Houma, LA; 4 nephews:
Daniel, Rene' and Paul
George and Luke Lirett;
and 3 nieces, Caydence
Wells, Gabrielle
Frisella and Kylie
Lirette. He was preceded
in death by: his father,
Larry Wells;
grandfather, Lloyd
Wells; and grandmother,
Lois Miller Wells.
Visitation will be at
CRAIN FUNERAL HOME from
5:00 until 10:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 12,
2004 and after 8:00 a.m.
Friday until 1:00 p.m. A
Mass will be held at
2:00 p.m. Friday at St.
Paul Catholic Church,
Tylertown, MS. Father
Victor Siedel -
officiating. Burial to
follow in the Mt. Hermon
Cemetery, Mt. Hermon,
