March 31. Tool house of I.M. Bragg, on West Broadway.
July 3. In barber's shop, Guild's block; damage $200.
July 4. On Kenduskeag bridge, from sawdust under sidewalk. No damage.
July 21. The dwelling of Galen Worcester, Morse's lane; damage trifling. 
Aug 3. Unoccupied house owned by H. Warren, near Mechanic street; loss $100.
Aug 15. Cooper shop on Ohio street; damage $150.
Aug 15. House on Coombs' wharf, so called, owned by R. Dwinel; loss $1000.
Sept 26. A.C. Leighton's shop, Court street, from shavings; put out without much damage.
Oct 8. John Farrington's shop, near Morse's lane; damage slight.
Dec 1. roof and L part and wood house of the "Old Patten House," High Street, owned by M.L. Appleton; damage $150.

March 5. "Reed House," near Prince's on Centre street; loss $300; incendiary.
May 28. Brig Susan T. Norcross, Veazie's Wharf. Loss 1000.
June 6. House of Mr. Dearhorn, North Broadway. Loss 500.
June 11. House of Mr. O'Connell, french street. 150; defect in pipe.
June 24. House of T.J. Whitton & Co., Harlow street. From sparks.
Aug 26. House of Mr. Gardner. Barkerville. Loss 400.
Sept 10. House of McGaw & Crosby. Washington street. Loss $300; defect in chimney.
Sept 11. Samuel Larrabee, exchange-loss $65.

Dec 26. Benjamin Gullifer, 6 Mile Falls road. Loss $300.

Jan 26. George C. Martin. Near Valley Avenue. $300.
March 2. Steam mill of Decrow & Crockett. Drew's Wharf. slight. Stove pipe.
March 17. Store of B.F. Bradbury & Co., caused by accidental igniting of spirits of turpentine. Damage $100.
May 10. Tenement owned by S. Larrabee, on exchange street, from defect in chimney.
May 19. Barn and wood house of Messrs. Fogg & Dillingham, on the corner of French and Somerset streets. Loss 500.
May 29. Blacksmith's shop of E. Broad, from defect in forge. Damage small.
June 10. Elm House, on Levant Road, supposed incendiary. Loss 2000.
June 11. The attic and roof of Hon. Charles Stetson's house Broadway. Damage 425.
June 25. Barn of John Howard, Birch street, from rags. Damage nominal.
Oct 21. "Torsey House," Ash street, from bedding. Damage slight.
Dec. 31. Storehouse of Charles Dunning & Co., caused by high course of tides slacking lime. Damage, 600.

Jan 5. House of Mr. Consandine, on Paddy Lane. Damage nominal.
Feb 4. The McQuesten Mills. Cause unknown. Loss 1000.
Feb 11. Theological Seminary building, from sparks on floors. Damage slight.
Feb 12. In same building-cause unknown. Loss 350.
Feb 13. The wool house of Chapin Humphrey, on Centre street. Supposed cause, a defect in the chimney. Insured $2600; Loss $5000.
Feb 27. Residence of Mrs. Smith, essex street, caused from sparks from the chimney. Damage slight.
March 21. Store of S.C. Hatch, main street, from stove; loss $8500, insured $5500.
March 24. House of John Conner, from chimney; loss $800, insured 750.
March 31. House of Marston & Weed, essex; loss 200, insured 200.
April 8. Store of Mr. Bowler, exchange street, from stove pipe, trifling.
