PROBATE INFORMATION


Estate of Angie Leighton

To the Honorable Judge of Probate for the County of Penobscot.

   The undersigned, Guardian of Angie Leighton, minor heir of Charles W. Leighton, late of Corinna, in said County, deceased, respectfully represents that said minor is seized and possessed of the following described real estate, viz:
All said minor's interest, as heir of said deceased, in 40 acres of land, more or less, in Lot No. eighteen (18), according to the survey of Daniel Dennett, made in 1859, in that part of Fort Fairfield in Aroostook County, which was the East half of the Township of Plymouth Grant, and all of said minor's real estate in said Aroostook County, being a part of the same described in a dated recorded in the Registry of Deeds for Aroostook County, Vol. 32, page 219.

That it would be for the benefit of said Minor that said Real Estate should be sold, and the proceeds thereof put out at interest, or otherwise used for her benefit.

He therefore prays that license may be granted him to sell and convey the above described real Estate at public or private sale according to the requirement of the law.

Estate of Maria Towsend

STATE OF MAINE.

PENOBSCOT, ss. Court of Probate, April Term, A.D. 1871

            VAN R. DOBSON, Administrator of the Estate of Maria Townsend, late of Bradford, in said County, deceased, having presented his Account for settlement.

ORDERD, that said Accountant give public notice to all persons interested, by causing a copy of this Order to be published three weeks succeeding in the Bangor Weekly Courier, a newspaper published in Bangor, in said County, that they may appear at the Court of Probate for said County, to be held in the Probate Office in said Bangor, on the last Tuesday in May next, at ten of the clock in the forenoon and show cause, if any the have, why the same should not be allowed.
