COUNTY MAINE DEATHS

BODY OF MRS.
DEOJAY DISCOVERED IN WINNEGANCE CREEK:
The
mystery regarding the disappearance of Mrs. Alex Deojay, who
was last seen on one of the wharves near her home on Front
street early this month, was solved yesterday forenoon when
her remains were found in a marsh in Winnegance Creek by Park
and Win Morse while out picking up logs. the woman was
lying face down. Coroner Dallou (?) was notified and
viewed the body. Mr. Deojay, later saw the body and
recognized it as that of his late wife. {source: Bath

Longley,
Nathaniel
Nathaniel Longley, city
messenger, died Saturday afternoon after a few days illness,
at the age of seventy-five years. He was a city official
and for several years was in the employ of William King, the
first governor of Maine.

Capt.
Levi Paterson Died at Bath, Maine, Capt. Levi
Paterson, aged 56. He was judged to weigh at the time of his
death, between 5 and 600. His excessive corpulence was the

Perkins: In Belvedere
California July 10, 1906, Samuel Perkins,
father of the Rev. James C.,Mary R.,Samuel Jr. and Daniel T.C.
Perkins and Mrs. Brewton A. Hayne, a native of Topsham Maine,
aged 82 years and 10 months. Services at 2421 Piedmont
avenue, between Dwight and Channing ways, Berkeley at 2 p.m.

Arthur Sewall
Bath, Me. - Arthur Sewall, candidate for the
vice presidency in 1896, died at his summer home, 12 miles
from this city yesterday. He was taken with apoplexy on Sunday
